For a 12kW system sufficient for 4 people including battery storage, you can expect a net investment of approximately CHF 32,000 after subsidies. This is significantly cheaper than market rates. The payback period is then under 20 years, after which you generate free electricity. But even more interestingly, you become independent from oil, gas, and fossil fuels right away thanks to the battery storage.
