TB-AudioWaterfall – Audio Visualizer

DotNet application for audio visualization

*

Depending on the source, visualization can be done via microphone, Bluetooth or master input.

The audio visualizer was developed in Dotnet, specifically in C#. It uses the Fourier transform of the audio signal to quickly extract frequency spectra. Once the frequency data is available, it can be visualized. This project was created purely out of interest in visualizing sounds as a whole, so the graphics performance is certainly no milestone, but it serves its purpose.

Depending on the mode, I have created various displays: waveform, frequency spectrum, waterfall and data details. It just looks cool in a nice CGA lime green. Any color would be possible.

Installed on a simple wall-mounted tablet, the tool visualizes classical music, EDM, and even Schlager as an eye-catching feature.
